Sally's Music

Sally has written a diverse range of music - from film to the concert hall.

She is regularly invited to write new music and arrangements for artists ranging from professional musicians to choirs to jazz ensembles to community groups.

Some of her stuff has won competitions and has been played at music and film festivals around the world.

Film [Various Projects]

Music soundtracks composed by Sally Greenaway.
These tracks are from various short film projects during my time in London.

  1. Lord of the Rings - written as part of coursework at the RCM. Featuring the RCM Symphony Orchestra. The exercise was to score a scene from 'The Lord of the Rings', for which Howard Shore composed the original score.
  2. Flood - written as part of a workshop with Debbie Wiseman. The exercise was to score a scene from the feature film 'Flood', for which Debbie Wiseman composed the original score.
  3. Knick Knack - written as part of coursework at the RCM. The exercise was to re-score the music for the short film 'Knick Knack' by Pixar, for which Bobby McFerrin composed the original score.
    Musicians: Dan Faulkner, Nick Walsh and Elias Sibley
  4. More - written as part of coursework at the RCM. The exercise was to score the short animation film 'More', for which Justin Lassen put together the original sountrack.
  5. Cherry Ballet - I composed the music for the short animation film
    'Dance of the Cherry Blossom' by Emily Marcom.

Film [Unsettled]

Music soundtrack composed and recorded by Sally Greenaway for the film documentary 'Unsettled' by Yasmin Salem. Guitarrist is Johan Lofving.

Film [Michael Faraday]

Music soundtrack composed by Sally Greenaway. This music was written as part of course work at the RCM (London). The exercise was to score a 15 minute 'Michael Faraday' segment from the documentary 'Einstein's Big Idea' by PBS (for which Michael J. McEvoy composed the original score).
Recorded at RCM Studios, featuring RCM students.
